When I think of Paris, I always think of Dan Brown’s intergalactic comedy science fiction Davinci picture. I think of Jean Reno’s delivery of “The scar on the face of Paris” line in reference to Louvre Pyramid. And now, I think of mountains of ridiculous electric scooters piled up everywhere. If the Pyramid is the scar, the scooter menace is full bloom acne. Seriously, if you are not dodging the Darwin Award winning tourists trying to harm themselves on these things, you’re tripping over the two wheeled travesties constantly.
Anyway, I digress.
I also think of Anders Hjorth when I think of Paris. Before being politely asked to leave the local cafe we had camped out in, Anders and I had one of the most candid and genuinely honest recorded conversations I’ve ever experienced. The climb to the top isn’t easy, the costs are and not everyone gets there and right here is where you’re going to get the straight dope.
Anders has done it all in the agency world without falling prey to the agency stooge affliction and he’s OK with talking about how it all happened then unhappened then happened again.
Get TMI with one of the most respected people in the business. And the other guy.
